PADS: Another way to serve our community. We join with other churches, particularly St. Mark’s in Worth, to provide one night a month shelter for the homeless. Thanks to Anita Stocks’ leadership this past Friday evening several of our members made a meal and stayed the night in three shifts until release time after a brief breakfast and a bag lunch for each person who spent the night. We are grateful for the sacrifice of a night’s sleep for those who served the Lord in this way. And we continue to need others who will put themselves at the Lord’s disposal for our next turn, November 4 at St. Mark’s, 111th Street just east of Southwest Highway.
