Youth Ministry

I would like to welcome you to our youth ministry here at Palos Park Presbyterian Community Church.  I am excited what the Lord has done in our ministry and what he has planned for the future.  We believe that teenagers are not only the future of the church, but also the present of the church and our ministry reflects that. Our two groups, WF (Senior High) and LOL (Junior High), are not just for the churched but also for the unchurched so every teenager is welcome here.

Please take a look at our vision and mission below and also check out the WF and LOL pages.  You will see that we have a lot going on and we would love for you to be a part of it.  Please e-mail me at youth@pppcc.org OR bvbaren@gmail.com  if you have any questions.

 Sincerely, Bob Van Baren.

Vision

To lead students of influence.

Mission

Our mission is for our students to come together as a community to know Christ’s love, grow in that love, and for them to serve their community and reach their non-believing friends.

Values

Evangelism - Acts 1:8
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Worship - Romans 12:1
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship."

Fellowship - Ephesians 2:19
“Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household.”

Discipleship - Hebrews 6:1
“Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God.”

Ministry - Ephesians 4:11-12
“It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.”
